Over the last several years, Landlord/Tenant issues requiring judicial intervention have greatly increased. Most parties are self-represented litigants, unfamiliar with court procedures. Landlord/Tenant issues are complicated. The hope is that educating landlords and tenants regarding their basic rights on the front end may alleviate the need for judicial intervention later on.
