Free Legal Fair in Chaparral, New Mexico Offers Vital Legal Consultations to Local Residents

A Free Legal Fair is set to take place on August 26, 2023, in Chaparral, New Mexico. Organized in collaboration with the Third Judicial District Pro Bono Committee, the Twelfth Judicial District Pro Bono Committee, and the Volunteer Attorney Program, this event aims to provide crucial legal guidance to individuals seeking assistance with various legal matters.

The Free Legal Fair will be hosted at the Betty McKnight Community Center, located at 190 County Line Dr., Chaparral, NM 88081. The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering in-person consultations with experienced attorneys who specialize in a wide range of legal fields. Bilingual staff and attorneys will be readily available to address concerns and provide advice.

Individuals attending the event will have the opportunity to receive free legal consultations on a first-come, first-served basis. The event’s roster of areas of law served is comprehensive and includes divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, paternity, kindship guardianship, personal injury, landlord/tenant disputes, bankruptcy, creditor/debtor issues, wills/probate, powers of attorney, public benefits, employment matters, unemployment benefits, contracts, and immigration.
