In recognition of National Consumer Protection Week, New Mexico Legal Aid is pleased to announce the hosting of two educational webinars aimed at empowering consumers with knowledge and insights to protect their rights and avoid common scams and frauds. These webinars will be presented on Zoom by the managing attorney of New Mexico Legal Aid’s Consumer Law Practice Group.
According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), National Consumer Protection Week, observed this year from March 3rd to March 9th, serves as an annual reminder to inform individuals about their consumer rights and provide resources to prevent fraud and deception.
These informative sessions aim to equip consumers with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and protect their interests in various consumer-related matters.
